Bernard Mourad

Bernard is a Partner at Raine.
He joined the Firm in 2021 as Head of our Paris office, and is part of Raine’s European leadership team.
Bernard is a renowned advisor, investor and entrepreneur in the technology, media and telecoms sector, with over 20 years of investment banking experience and a successful track-record as a founder and investor in several ventures in the technology, media and entertainment industries.
Prior to joining Raine, Bernard was Head of Global Corporate and Investment Banking for France at Bank of America Merrill Lynch.
Prior to that, Bernard served as special advisor to President Emmanuel Macron, and as Chairman of Altice Media, a leading TV/Publishing group in France.
He was previously a Managing Director at Morgan Stanley, where he began his career and contributed to lead the TMT franchise, advising on over $200 billionof M&A, IPO and financing transactions, with prominent corporate clients including Altice, SFR, Vivendi, Iliad, Lagardère, Eutelsat, BT Group, Merlin Entertainments, Formula One, Telecom Italia, Wind, Mondadori/Fininvest, Wind Hellas, Portugal Telecom, Qatar Telecom, Maroc Telecom and Saudi Oger as well as major private equity clients including KKR, Blackstone, Carlyle, Apax, CVC, TPG, Cinven and Eurazeo.
Bernard is also the co-founder and Chairman of Loopsider, a leading digital media player in France, and a partner in Films Sous Influence, a leading independent movie production company.
He is also one of most active business angels in France having funded over 15 portfolio companies in the tech, media and entertainment sectors.
Bernard holds a Master in Management and Finance from HEC Paris and a Master in Public Affairs and Economics from Sciences Po Paris, magna cum laude.
