Cliff Schorer

Mr. Cliff Schorer is a Professor at Columbia University and Venture Partner at GSA Venture Partners LLC.
Previously he served as CEO and President of GeoVideo Networks, a Lucent Technologies Venture, until the company was sold in 2001.
GeoVideo employed a vast fiber optic network for the hosting and transport of broadband video applications directly to the desktop.
The venture, founded by Mr. Schorer, was funded by Lucent, Thomas Weisel Partners and Crest Holdings.
In 1993 Mr. Schorer joined Columbia University's faculty as an Adjunct Professor teaching both Introduction to and Launching New Ventures.
From 1995 to 1999, Mr. Schorer served on the board of AdOne Classified Network.
He serves as faculty advisor to the Eugene M.
Lang Fund and in 1999 initiated the Greenhouse Program.
In July of 2001, he accepted a full time position at the Columbia University as an Entrepreneur in Residence.
Mr. Schorer serves in a consultative capacity to global corporations including Lucent Technologies, AT&T, and Glaxo SmithKline, Forbes, and Sony.
He is also the author of Grow, a financial management software package for emerging companies.
