Brisendine, CFA, is a Founding Principal at HMS Capital Management LLC.

She entered the financial industry in 1993, working for the State of Tennessee’s pension fund, where she was Associate Portfolio Manager, one of only two women to hold this title.
She was ultimately responsible for management of the International Growth Portfolio, two U.S.
Sector Funds, and the Convertible Bond Arbitrage Portfolio.
She then joined an Atlanta based firm, GLOBALT Investments, as a partner and senior analyst.
Returning to Nashville in 2004, she joined SunTrust Bank as a Senior Portfolio Manager, advising ultra- high net worth clients on a wide-ranging array of financial subjects including retirement planning, investments, credit facilities, cash management, insurance, and estate planning.
She graduated from Belmont University with a degree in Business Administration and Finance.
