David A. Thurm

David A. Thurm has been Senior Vice President of Operations for The New York Times Co. since October 9, 2008.
Mr. Thurm had been Chief Information Officer of The New York Times Company since September 2004.
Previously, he served as Vice President-Real Estate Development from 2000 to 2004 and Chief Operating Officer of New York Times Digital since 1999.
From 1995 to 1999, Mr. Thurm was Vice President-Production at The New York Times.
He joined New York Times as an Attorney in 1982 and was promoted to Senior Attorney in 1988.
Mr. Thurm served as Director-Administration of The Times Newspaper in 1988.
Prior to joining the Times Company, he had been an Associate at Rogers & Wells since 1978.
Mr. Thurm received an AB degree from Harvard University in 1975 and a JD degree from New York University School of Law in 1978.
