Ms. Faith Muramba, CFA, is a Portfolio Manager at Taquanta Asset Managers Pty Ltd.
joined Taquanta’s Cash Management Team as a Trainee Portfolio Manager at the end of 2010.
She joined Taquanta after working as a performance analyst in the asset management industry for just under one year and became a Portfolio Manager with Taquanta in 2014.
Having initially focused on the fixed income’s short duration portfolios when she joined the firm, she has since transitioned into the credit space.
Ms. Muramba is responsible for Taquanta’s enhanced yield offering, and was integral in enhancing the firm’s credit process, particularly following the African Bank credit event.
She sits on the Fixed Income Standing Committee of the Association for Savings and Investment South Africa.
Ms. Muramba holds a Business Science Honors degree in Actuarial Science, majoring in Quantitative Finance from UCT.
She became a Chartered Financial Analyst and became a FAIS Authorized Representative in 2014.
She has also completed a Masters of Commerce in Development Finance at UCT.
