Homelidays is a website specialised in private holiday rentals. Its role is to publish adverts for holiday rentals and Bed & Breakfasts located all over the world and put holiday makers and owners in direct contact with each other. Florent Mamelle created the website in July 2000. There are now 70 people of 7 different nationalities (French, English, German, Italian, Spanish, Portuguese and Dutch) working hard to offer a service of excellent quality to all its users. In January 2009, HomeAway Inc., based in Austin (Texas, United States), bought Homelidays. HomeAway Inc. is the world leader for holiday rentals on the internet. Homelidays is not an estate agency or a third party and it does not take any commission on rentals. Welcoming holiday makers, handing over keys and doing the inventory are not part of its services. Homelidays, a limited company, is part of HomeAway, Inc., world leader for holiday rentals on the Internet.
