Henry Thompson is General Manager of the London office and Arcapita’s General Counsel, responsible for administering the Bank’s legal affairs, corporate governance and developing the legal aspects of the Islamic financial instruments utilized by the Bank.
Prior to joining Arcapita, he was with US law firms, Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher LLP and Hogan & Hartson LLP, specializing in cross-border investments as well as financing on both conventional and Islamic lines.
Henry Thompson has a BS in Foreign Service from Georgetown University in Washington, D.C., and JD (Cum Laude) from Georgetown University Law Center in Washington, D.C.
He is a Member of the District of Columbia Bar.
