Prior to joining AXIA in 2006, Mr. Henkel worked for KDP Asset Management as a Senior Vice President responsible for establishing a marketing and sales growth strategy for high-yield investment products targeted to the institutional market.
From 2001 to 2004, Mr. Henkel was a Senior Vice President for Dreyfus Investment Advisors in New York developing and executing marketing plans and strategies for the firm’s institutional services and products throughout the East Coast.
Prior to joining Dreyfus, Mr. Henkel spent sixteen years with MetLife in New York and Washington, D.C.
including eleven years as the Director of Asset Management Sales responsible for marketing institutional investment products along the East Coast.
Mr. Henkel received a Bachelor of Arts from State University of New York in 1978 and a Masters of Arts in English from New York University in 1990.
