Hubert Chu

Mr. Hubert Chu is a Managing Director at Beach Point Capital Management LP.
He focuses on sourcing new investment opportunities and performing fundamental research and company analysis.
Mr. Chu has been in the industry since 2005.
Prior to Beach Point, he was a Vice President at Goldman Sachs Asset Management in Singapore, where he focused on credit investments in Asia.
He was previously an Associate at General Atlantic, where he worked on private equity investments across a variety of sectors.
Mr. Chu has also held roles in Technology Mergers and Acquisitions at UBS Investment Bank and as an engineer at NASA’s Jet Propulsion Laboratory.
He received a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from Stanford University and an MBA from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.
