Jacob Caplain

Mr. Jacob Caplain is a Director at BlackRock Advisors LLC.
At Blackrock, he is a member of the Global Fixed Income team focused on implementing yield focused strategies.
He’s worked on developing the income-focused investment process currently applied to a number of different investment vehicles with different risk tolerances.
Furthermore, he works more broadly on portfolio construction, asset allocation, and analytics across the multi-sector mutual funds platform.
He also specializes in fundamental research on macro trends in Emerging Markets.
Prior to joining the Global Fixed Income team, Mr. Caplain was a member of the Risk and Quantitative Analysis group within BlackRock, responsible for risk management across the multi-sector mutual funds platform.
Mr. Caplain earned a BA degree, magna cum laude, in Financial Economics from Columbia University.
