Mr. James D.
Winship is General Counsel & Chief Compliance Officer at Saturna Capital Corp.
Prior to joining Saturna Capital, he served Chief Compliance Officer for the adviser and its affiliated mutual funds, and most recently as General counsel since 2004.
From 2000 through 2003, he served as Adjunct Professor to the University of Washington School of Business.
He has wealth of experience in the securities and financial business, with dedicated to the mutual fund and advisory business, including service with the Investment Company Institute (past Governor).
Mr. Winship received a graduate degree from Northwestern University in 1970, a JD from Northwestern University Law School in 1973 and an MBA from the University of Chicago in 1976.
He is director and treasurer of the Marge Williams Center and enjoys reading, spending time with his family, and music.
