Mr. McHugh serves as head of Grove Fund Management, the dedicated subsidiary responsible for financial operations and reporting, tax reporting and compliance, subsidiary operations and general administration.
Prior to joining Grove in 2005, Mr. McHugh was a partner in the Real Estate, Hospitality & Construction group of Ernst & Young and coordinated tax planning, fund structuring, and financial reporting services for global real estate clients in over 20 countries.
He was the Editor in Chief of the Journal of Real Estate Taxation from 2001 through 2005.
Mr. McHugh is a Certified Public Accountant and received a BS from St. John’s University.
