Jonathan Simon

Jon joined Downing in February 2022 as an Investment Director.
He has over 15 years of investment experience and is responsible for deal origination and execution, as well as portfolio management across a broad range of sectors, with a particular focus on hospitality and leisure opportunities.
? Jon previously spent 10 years at BGF where he was part of the team that helped establish the business.
He was responsible for over £100m of investments, leading its consumer focus in the South East, in addition to its broader activity across Essex, Suffolk and Norfolk.
Prior experience includes the Joint Ventures team at Bank of Scotland, where he invested in several asset based businesses, including housebuilders and hotels.
