Sir Julian was previously deputy chief executive of Vodafone Group Plc until 2006 and chairman of the Sage Group until 2007.
He is a member of the boards of Digicel Group, Acer, Bumi plc and Altimo's Advisory Board.
He also holds senior advisory roles at UBS and on the Etisalat board.
Sir Julian is Pro Chancellor at Bath University where he obtained a MSc in business administration and an honorary DLL.
He also holds a University of London BSc degree in economics.
