Kim Siew Tan

Kim Siew Tan is currently the Chairman at Vicom Ltd.
and the Chairman-Governing Board at the Research Centre of Excellence in Mechanobiology.
He is also the Chairman-Governing Board at the Mechanobiology Institute, an Independent Non-Executive Director at SBS Transit Ltd., and a Director at Singapore Technologies Holdings Pte Ltd.
In the past, Dr. Tan served as the Chief Executive Officer & Commissioner at the Inland Revenue Authority of Singapore from 2012 to 2014.
He was also the Chief Executive Officer at the Urban Redevelopment Authority of Singapore and the Chairman of the Defence Science & Technology Agency and DSO National Laboratories.
Additionally, he held positions as a Non-Executive Director at Singapore Technologies Engineering Ltd.
from 2003 to 2012 and as a Director at St Engineering Pte Ltd.
He was the Deputy Secretary at the Singapore Ministry of Finance and the Secretary-Defence Development at the Singapore Ministry of Defence from 2003 to 2012.
He also served as the Deputy Secretary at the Singapore Ministry of National Development.
Dr. Tan pursued his undergraduate and doctorate degrees at the University of Cambridge.
