Laurence Pollock

Pollock held several positions throughout his career.
He started as a Regional Vice President at Lloyds Bank of Canada from 1985 to 1990.
He then joined Canadian Western Trust in 1996 and served as President & Chief Executive Officer until 2013.
In 1999, he became an Independent Director at WestJet Airlines Ltd., a position he held until 2016.
Mr. Pollock also served as a Director at EPCOR Utilities, Inc., HNZ GP, Inc., Edmonton Eskimos Football Club, Canadian Helicopters Ltd., and Clark Builders, Inc. He was the Chairman of Canadian Direct Insurance, Inc. and a Member-Executive Council at the Canadian Bankers Association.
From 2012 to 2014, he was an Independent Director at HNZ Group, Inc. He also served as an Independent Director at Crown Capital Partners, Inc. from 2018 to 2020.
Currently, Mr. Pollock is the Lead Independent Trustee at Melcor Real Estate Investment Trust, a position he has held since 2013.
Mr. Pollock obtained his undergraduate degree from the Saskatchewan Institute of Applied Science & Technology in 1968.
