Leibniz Institute of Photonic Technology Founded in 1992, the Leibniz Institute of Photonic Technology specializes in photonics and optical technologies to address challenges in health, medicine, environment, energy, and security. The institute collaborates with medical, industrial, and academic partners to develop certified medical products and practical applications, and hosts specialized centers supporting innovation in biomedical diagnostics and therapy. It also integrates mid-infrared spectroscopy with artificial intelligence to improve biomedical diagnostics and experimental optimization. |
