Manish Mehta

Mr. Manish Mehta is a Head-Global Markets & Index Investments at BlackRock, Inc., a President & Chief Operating Officer at iShares, Inc. and a Head of BlackRock Global Markets & Index Investments at BlackRock Institutional Trust Co. NA. He is a member of the firm’s Global Executive Committee.
He served as Global Head of Human Resources for BlackRock from October 2019 until January 2023.
He previously was Global Head of Markets & Investments for ETF and Index Investments and Chief Operating Officer for iShares.
Mr. Mehta joined BlackRock in 2009 as part of its acquisition of Barclays Global Investors (BGI), where he was Head of Strategy and Corporate Development and Chief of Staff to the CEO.
He was with the Boston Consulting Group where he focused on developing business strategies and improving operational effectiveness for companies across a range of industries, including financial services, telecommunications, technology, and media & entertainment.
He began his career with Accenture where he managed the design and implementation of enterprise technology solutions for clients in the pharmaceutical and insurance industries.
He has an MBA from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania, and a B.S.
in Electrical Engineering and Computer Sciences from the University of California, Berkeley.
