Delaney, CFA, is a Deputy Chief Executive & Chief Investment Officer at AustralianSuper Pty Ltd.
He is on the Board of Directors at Pacific Pension & Investment Institute.
He is acting as an advisor to the board, developing and implementing investment strategies, and managing the work of AustralianSuper's investment advisers.
Mr. Delaney was the Chief Executive of the Superannuation Trust of Australia (STA) for three years before the merger with ARF to form AustralianSuper.
Prior to AustralianSuper, he worked for 14 years at National Mutual/AXA, moving his way through the company from Economist to Senior Manager of Investment Services.
He previously spent four years working as an economist in the Federal Department of Treasury.
He has a Bachelor of Economics (Hons) and holds the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation.
