Matilde Cappelletti

Ms. Matilde Cappelletti is a Researcher at Zentrum für Europäische Wirtschaftsforschung GmbH.
Her research interests are in the fields of applied microeconomics and empirical health economics.
In November 2019, she joined ZEW's Junior Research Group “Economics of Public Procurement”.
She completed her master’s degree in economics at the University of Mannheim and her bachelor’s degree in philosophy, politics, and economics at the Free University of Bozen-Bolzano, Italy.
During her studies, she spent time abroad at the University of Washington in the US, at the University of Hamburg, and at the Université Catholique de Louvain in Belgium.
In her master’s thesis, she analysed the effects of restricting competition in public procurement auctions.
Since September 2020, she has been enrolled in the PhD programme of the Center for Doctoral Studies in Economics (CDSE) at the University of Mannheim.
