Michael A.
Bateman has held various senior management positions at M&T Bank, Allfirst and the First National Bank of Maryland since 1978.
From 1988 to 2006, he was Vice President of the Financial Institutions Division for M&T.
Mr. Bateman is a Member of the Maryland and Virginia Trade Groups and the Chambers of Commerce in Montgomery, Howard, Anne Arundel and Baltimore Counties.
Previously, he was a Member of the Maryland and Virginia Trade Groups and the Chambers of Commerce in Montgomery, Howard, Anne Arundel and Baltimore Counties.
Currently, Mr. Bateman is Senior Vice President of Sandy Spring Bancorp, Inc. He received a Master's degree in Administrative Science from Johns Hopkins University and a BA degree from the University of Maryland.
