Michael Bushey, Jr.

Michael is a Managing Partner of Aztec Capital Management and plays an integral role in conducting due diligence, leading new investment acquisitions and working alongside portfolio company operators post-acquisition.
Michael is one of the founding members of Aztec Capital Management.
Prior to Aztec Capital Management, Michael had an extensive career at a global law firm in both corporate and finance transactional work, focusing his practice on corporate finance transactions, mergers and acquisitions and securities law matters primarily in the technology, life sciences and healthcare industries.
Michael frequently assisted clients from seed/early stages through exits.
Michael advised a broad range of clients, including startup and emerging companies, publicly held middle-market companies and venture capital and private equity firms.
Michael’s transactional experience included IPOs, PIPEs, registered direct offerings and direct follow-on offerings, as well as venture capital, private equity, mergers and acquisitions, and other strategic transactions.
He regularly served as outside general counsel for private and public companies at various stages of development.
Michael earned his J.D.
from Villanova University School of Law and his BA from John Carroll University.
