Nathan Kornfeld

Mr. Kornfeld is President of GMAC Institutional Advisors and a member of the company’s Executive Committee.
He joined GMAC Commercial Mortgage (GMACCM), the parent of GMAC Institutional Advisors, in January 2001 as executive vice president and director of strategic planning and mergers and acquisitions.
Under Kornfeld’s direction, GMACCM made significant acquisitions that expanded its nationwide network of loan origination offices and increased the company’s international operations.
In 2003 he presided over GMACCM’s acquisition of CapMark Services, a major player in the master and primary loan servicing arena, as well as several other commercial real estate businesses from Lend Lease Corporation Limited.
Prior to joining GMACCM, he spent 20 years in investment banking, primarily focusing on real estate and risk management, with Salomon Brothers and Lehman Brothers.
Mr. Kornfeld has a B.A.
from The George Washington University and an M.B.A.
from Cornell University.
