Nir Kaissar

Mr. Nir Kaissar, CFA, is a Portfolio Manager & Managing Member at Unison Advisors LLC.
He is also a Founder.
Mr. Kaissar's work focuses on constructing diversified portfolios using well-known factors that contribute to risk and return, such as market, value, size, profitability and momentum, as distinguished from traditional market cap based asset allocation methods that largely ignore these factors.
With Unison’s founding in 2005, he introduced one of the first factor allocation strategies, and Unison remains today one of the few firms offering a factor based alternative to traditional asset allocation.
Prior to founding Unison, Mr. Kaissar was an Associate at Sullivan & Cromwell LLP, where he represented Wall Street’s largest financial institutions in a variety of transactions, including financings and mergers and acquisitions.
He began his career as a Consultant with Ernst & Young LLP, where he prepared company valuations for proposed mergers and acquisitions,.
He received his undergraduate degree from Indiana University and a graduate degree from Michigan State University College of Law.
