Parth Chakrabarti

Parth Chakrabarti is currently the Executive Vice Chancellor at the University of Massachusetts.
Previously, he worked as the Director of Strategy & Business Development at Baxter International, Inc. from 2011 to 2014, as the Senior Director of Transactions at Johnson & Johnson Innovation - JJDC, Inc. from 2014 to 2018, and as the Manager of Strategic Innovation at Becton, Dickinson & Co. in 2010.
He also worked as an Investment Manager at Ventureast Fund Advisors (India) Ltd.
from 2008 to 2009.
In 2019, he briefly worked as the Vice President at Vertex Pharmaceuticals, Inc. and as the Global Head of Business Development at Genzyme Corp.
He has a graduate degree from Harvard University, an undergraduate degree from Nagpur University, a graduate degree from Banaras Hindu University, and an MBA from the Indian School of Business.
