The company was founded by Quee Hock Chia on December 2, 1995 and is headquartered in Singapore.

Argyle Street Management Ltd. (ASML) is the alternative investment subsidiary of Argyle Street Management Holdings Ltd., an investment company headquartered in Hong Kong. The firm was founded by Kim Chan in 2002. ASML provides advisory services to pooled investment vehicles which are invested by a number of investors and separate managed accounts set up by institutional investors and family offices.
