Qing Yun Wang

Mr. Wang joined WI Harper Group initially as a summer intern in 2006, when he was studying his MBA at Peking University, and he officially joined WI Harper Group in 2007 and is currently a Principal in the WI Harper Beijing office, focusing on semiconductor and other related industries.
Before joining WI Harper, Mr. Wang was previously an associate at Needham & Company, a full-service technology-focused investment bank in the US.
Mr. Wang joined Needham in 2001 in their Menlo Park office and was actively involved in over 30 completed investment banking transactions with an aggregate transaction value of more than $2.6 billion, primarily in the semiconductor and semiconductor equipment, IP, and EDA spaces.
Prior to joining Needham & Company, Mr. Wang worked at Merrill Lynch Japan Securities as a summer analyst in the equity research and equity trading departments.
With his strong investment banking background, Mr. Wang brings to the company a very strong analytical skill set and a strong understanding of the US and international capital markets and semiconductor industry.
Mr. Wang was born in the US and holds a B.S.
in Industrial Engineering from Stanford University and an MBA from Peking University.
