Firth is a Chief Executive Officer & Chief Investment Officer at Firth Investment Management Pte Ltd.
He founded the firm in 2007 having concluded that an independent specialist company provided the best environment in which to manage portfolios of Asian Smaller Companies.
He has been in the fund management industry since 1987, invested in Asian equities since 1993.
During an 18 year career at Schroders, Mr. Firth performed various fund management roles in the firm’s London, Hong Kong, Seoul and Singapore offices.
These included managing a Korean equity country fund from 1995 to 2005, managing a corporate restructuring fund sponsored by the Korean government, Chief Investment Officer of Schroders Korea, and launching and managing the Schroder Asian Smaller Companies Fund in 2005.
He has a Bachelor of Science degree in Financial Economics from Birkbeck College, London University, and is a Regular Member of the CFA Institute.
