Robert J.
Gerety worked at The Food and Drug Administration and the National Institutes of Health and was an Associate Director of Medicine and Science and Chief of the Infectious Disease Branch at the Office for Biologics Evaluation and Research.
He worked at Inhale Therapeutic Systems and Merck & Co. and was Vice President of Development and Regulatory Affairs for OraVax, Inc. Dr. Gerety was Vice President of Development Operations for Biogen, Inc. and an Executive Vice President and Chief Executive Officer of ImmuLogic Pharmaceutical Corporation.
He has been a Member of the United States Public Health Service, the National Vaccine Advisory Committee of the US Government and the AIDS Task Force and was a Consultant of the NIAID, the NCI, the US Army, the American Red Cross and The World Health Organization.
Dr. Gerety received an MA and a PhD from the Stanford University Medical School and an MD from the George Washington University School of Medicine.
