Robert T. Stephenson

Mr. Robert T.
Stephenson is Director of Research & Associate Portfolio Manager at JP Marvel Investment Advisors LLC.
He is a founding member of the firm.
As Director of Research, he monitors current portfolio security performance and evaluates potential portfolio investments.
His research focuses on fundamental, technical, and growth characteristics of public companies and their underlying equity securities.
As Associate Portfolio Manager, he works with members of the Investment Committee to make equity, fixed income, and asset allocation investment decisions for client portfolios.
He also serves on the firm’s Trading and Operations Committee.
He is a member of the Boston Security Analysts Society.
Earlier in his career, Mr. Stephenson worked as a Research Analyst and Associate Portfolio Manager of the High Net Worth Group of Longwood Investment Advisors.
Before joining Longwood, he was Vice President of Investments at UBS PaineWebber, where he advised institutional and individual clients for seven years.
Prior to that, he was an Associate Analyst for Fahnestock & Co., covering the biotechnology and waste management sectors.
He received his MBA from Boston College and his BA from Connecticut College.
