Sara Tumen

Ms. Sara joined at Sterling in 2010.
Prior to that she joined Obama for America Campaign in 2008.
During her six months at OFA’s Chicago Headquarters, she was responsible for super-delegate outreach and involvement for the Democratic National Convention in Denver.
For the second half of the General Election she served as point person for all youth celebrity surrogate radio appearances throughout the country.
In November of 2008, she was invited to join the Obama-Biden Presidential Transition Team in Washington DC where she served as Special Assistant to the Department of the Interior Agency Review Team.
During this time Sara helped the DOI Agency Review Team work to create a roadmap for the President that suggested regulations and changes to all Interior operations.
After the Presidential Inauguration, she was appointed to the Department of the Interior as Special Assistant to the Deputy Chief of Staff.
Since February of 2009 she has worked in the Office of the Secretary at the Department of the Interior aiding the Deputy Chief of Staff oversee the department.
Ms. Sara prior roles have given her the experience to build a comprehensive communication and public relations strategy for the firm as well communications with our limited partners.
