Prior to joining Ofer, Ms. Shelly Aharonovitch served over 6 years in various financial positions at Whale Communications Ltd., an international Internet security company.
She supported Whale's financial infrastructure and acted as its VP of Finance, till its acquisition by Microsoft Corporation Inc. During her years with Whale, she was responsible for all aspects of corporate worldwide financial reporting to management and investors, development and implementation of strategic global tax planning, development and supervision over budget control processes and for all high-level administrative and legal corporate issues.
Prior to Whale, she was a senior auditor at Somekh Chaikin, a member of KPMG, for 4 years.
Ms. Aharonovitch is a Certified Public Accountant and holds a bachelor’s degree in Economics and Accounting from Tel Aviv University and a Master’s degree in Law (LL.M) from Bar-Ilan University.
