Brown is a Director of Residential & Mining Research at Northland Capital Partners Ltd. He has over 25 years investment research experience in the building-related sectors.
Mr. Brown joined Northland in April 2011 from Matrix Capital where he held the position of Head of Building Research from November 2008.
Prior to working for Matrix Capital, he worked as a Research Analyst at Straumur-Burdaras Investment Bank hf, Landsbanki Securities, and as a Research Team Head at Evolution Securities Ltd. He also spent ten years at Williams de Broë, the last four years as Joint Head of Research, four years at UBS and three years at Prudential Securities in the UK and US.
Mr. Brown's corporate involvement has included IPO work, corporate client support and M & A analysis.
Mr. Brown graduated from the Cass (City University) Business School in 1981.
