SMITH BRENT

With more than 20 years’ experience in principal investment and corporate advisory, Brent has worked on numerous transactions across a wide variety of sectors.
He joined Pitt Capital Partners in 2008 and is responsible for all aspects of the investment process, from deal origination and the assessment of potential investee companies, to deal execution, implementation, monitoring and exit management.
Brent also works closely with several existing group companies to realise value through corporate transactions including mergers and acquisitions, capital raisings, restructurings and strategic reviews.
Prior to joining Pitt Capital Partners, Brent worked in the investment banking division of Citigroup and ING Barings.
Brent holds a Bachelor of Business from the University of Technology, Sydney and a Graduate Diploma in Applied Finance and Investment and is a Fellow of FINSIA.
