Mr. Haynie joined Ground Swell in 2005, after spending six years consulting several high-tech and Internet companies, advising on issues including licensing, strategic marketing, and financial planning.
Mr. Haynie also was a manager with Cardiff Software (acquired by Verity, Inc. in 2004), where he was responsible for product operations, in-bound technology licensing, and various product management activities.
Mr. Haynie previously directed the Institute of Business & Finance, a provider of professional education to the financial services industry, leading the private company in over five years of rapid market growth.
He also served as a financial analyst with Hybritech, a biotechnology company owned by Eli Lilly.
Mr. Haynie received an M.B.A.
from the UCLA Anderson School of Management and holds a B.A.
in Quantitative Economics and Decision Sciences from the University of California, San Diego, where he earned Department Honors with Distinction.
Mr. Haynie was captain of the lacrosse team at UCSD and is a co-founder and officer of the UCSD Triton Lacrosse Association.
