Vaneeta Varma

Ms. Vaneeta Varma is Chief Financial Officer at The Mayfield Fund.
Ms. Varma joined Mayfield Fund in 1998 as tax manager, was promoted to director of tax in 2008, and most recently promoted to chief financial officer in 2010.
In 2005, while continuing to assist Mayfield Fund, she formed her first consulting firm to help other venture capital firms navigate through and manage international and domestic tax issues.
Prior to Mayfield Fund, Ms. Varma worked for Arthur Andersen in the Silicon Valley for three years working with technology startups and venture funds as a tax associate.
She enjoys contributing to her local community and is currently serving on a non-profit board at Keys School in Palo Alto.
Ms. Varma is a Certified Public Accountant who holds a BS from the University of Minnesota and an MBA from Santa Clara University.
