Beginning in 1981 he spent 10 years at the Chicago Board Options Exchange and Chicago Board of Trade as a floor trader and market-maker specializing in complex options trading and hedging strategies on predominantly large-cap domestic equities and US Treasury Securities.
Following his tenure in Chicago, he returned to Louisville where spent the next 14 years as a Vice President at Hilliard Lyons focusing on equity investment research and sales with a focus on mid-cap and large-cap domestic companies.
Mr. Hancock graduated in 1976 from Wittenberg University in Springfield, OH with a BA in Business Administration.
He is also a Chartered Financial Analyst and a member of the CFA Institute and CFA Society of Louisville.
