Chase Untermeyer

Chase Untermeyer is Vice Chairman of Strategic Real Estate Advisors Ltd. and a Director and Vice Chairman of the StratREAL Foundation USA. Previously, he served as United States ambassador to the State of Qatar from 2004 to 2007.
Mr. Untermeyer was an Executive Assistant to the Vice President and an Assistant Secretary of the Navy for Manpower and Reserve Affairs.
He was Director of Presidential Personnel at the White House and a Director of the Voice of America.
Mr. Untermeyer served in the United States Navy as a Destroyer Officer.
He was a Member of the Texas House of Representatives.
Mr. Untermeyer was Chairman of the Board of Visitors for the United States Naval Academy, a Director of National Public Radio, a Member of the Houston Port Commission, Chairman of the Texas State Board of Education, and Vice President of Government Affairs and Professor of Public Policy at the University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston.
He began his career as a Political Reporter for the Houston Chronicle.
Mr. Untermeyer received a degree with honors in Government from Harvard College in 1968.
