Daniel Thomas Smith

Daniel joined the Bluewater investment team as a Vice President in 2023 and has responsibilities across all phases of the investment cycle, from the origination, initial screening / assessment of new opportunity and due diligence through to the acquisition and asset management of portfolio companies.
Prior to Bluewater, Daniel previously worked at Macquarie, Allianz and the PIF focusing on energy and infrastructure investments.
Daniel holds a Bachelor’s degree in International Management from the University of Manchester – Manchester Business School and undertook a BSBA study abroad program at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
Outside of work Daniel enjoys skiing, triathlons and hiking.
