David John Black

Mr. David J.
Black is an Investment Director at Investec Wealth & Investment Ltd.
He manages portfolios on behalf of individuals, trusts, charities Solvency II clients and Self-Invested Pension Plans (SIPPs), as well as dealing with investments within offshore bond wrappers.
He works closely with other professional advisors including IFAs, solicitors and accountants.
Mr. Black joined the firm's Liverpool office in 1987, moving from a back office to a front office role.
After a brief spell in compliance, he was seconded in 1998 to help set up a new subsidiary designed to take care of administration for third-party collective schemes.
After this, he acted as relationship manager for the business until the end of 2001, when he took up his current role in Leeds.
He has a BSc (Hons) in Chemistry.
He also holds the MSCI Dip, leading to Chartered FSCI status.
