Denise Schaefer

Denise Schaefer is the Marketing Director at Blockchain Capital.
She joined the firm in January of 2023.
She is responsible for leading the firm's marketing efforts, developing brand strategy, storytelling and supporting portfolio companies.
Prior to joining Blockchain Capital, Denise founded and served as CEO of Surge, an organization that educates and onboards women and newcomers to crypto.
At Surge, Denise developed the marketing, partnerships and content strategies, which helped the company scale its educational technology enterprise and consumer-facing token business to over 35,000 users.
She now sits on their board.
In her spare time, you can find Denise doing outdoor activities: tennis, via ferrata climbing, and water sports to name a few.
