George Smyrnis

Dr. George Smyrnis is a Senior Analyst at P.A.C.
Capital Pty Ltd. As a Senior Analyst, he has a dual role across both P.A.C.
Capital’s superannuation funds and the Esports fund.
He is primarily responsible for the design and management of the strategic and tactical asset allocation strategies associated with the superannuation funds.
In addition, he provides fundamental research on listed and unlisted companies in the consumer goods, gaming and leisure sector.
He also supports the development of internal investment models and processes, as well as fund-level reporting requirements and communication.
He has uniquely combined working within funds management and academia during the past decade.
Prior to joining P.A.C.
Capital, he spent 3 years working within the industry as an investment analyst at Mathews Capital Partners and AMP Capital.
Since 2011, he has also held various teaching, academic, and professional roles at the University of Sydney within the Business School.
Further, he has researched a range of superannuation topics throughout both his honours and PhD dissertations.
He has a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Finance and a Bachelor of Commerce (Hons) from the University of Sydney.
He is also a CFA charter holder.
