John B. Slaughter

John B.
Slaughter is a former President & Chief Executive Officer of The National Action Council for Minorities in Engineering.
He was also a Director at International Business Machines Corp., Solutia, Inc., and Northrop Grumman Corp.
Additionally, he served as Chancellor at the University of Maryland and Academic Vice President at Washington State University.
Slaughter's education includes a graduate degree from the University of California, Los Angeles, an undergraduate degree from Kansas State University, and a doctorate from the University of California San Diego.
Currently, Slaughter is the Director of the Applied Physics Laboratory at the University of Washington and a Professor of Leadership at the University of Southern California.
