Lee-Mike Zapata

Mr. Lee-Mike Zapata is a Managing Director, Portfolio Manager & Head Trader at Halseypoint Asset Management LLC.
Prior to joining HalseyPoint, Mr. Zapata was a Vice President at JPMorgan where he spent ten years from May 2007 to March 2017.
He began his career at JPMorgan in fundamental credit research as a Desk Analyst before being promoted to a trading role in 2009.
He traded leveraged loans and high yield for 4 years in New York and was identified in JPMorgan’s Top Talent program.
In 2013, he moved to London to trade emerging market credit before returning to New York in 2015 to focus on distressed debt.
He received a BA in International Relations from Stanford University.
