Mr. Wiess has served in financial roles in various industries, including service, manufacturing, and healthcare.
Prior to joining Sterling, he was the Assistant Controller for NeighborCare, a $1.4 billion pharmaceutical distributor including a Home Medical Care Division and Retail Pharmacy Division.
In addition to his role as Assistant Controller, he was the Division Controller for the $100 million Retail Pharmacy Division.
Prior to joining NeighborCare, he was the Assistant Controller for Symphony Respiratory Services, another healthcare company, and, before that, he worked for Asea Brown Boveri, a large engineering manufacturing company, and Burn International Guard Services, a security service company.
Mr. Wiess has a BS in Accounting from Mount St. Mary's University.
He is a Certified Public Accountant with the State of Maryland.
