Michael Dugan

Mr. Dugan has over thirty years of private equity and investment banking experience.
Prior to founding OceanBridge, Mr. Dugan was a Partner at The Blackstone Group.
Mr. Dugan was based in both Europe and the United States, and worked across the firm’s principal investment and advisory businesses.
His responsibilities included generating investment opportunities alongside strategic corporate partners; completing industrial private equity investments; providing insight for Blackstone’s industrial oriented equity, mezzanine and distressed debt investments; and, providing mergers and acquisition advice, and restructuring advice to global corporate clients and investment organizations.
Prior to joining Blackstone, Mr. Dugan was with Donaldson, Lufkin & Jenrette (DLJ) and Credit Suisse First Boston (CSFB).
Mr. Dugan was Head of Credit Suisse’s European Industrial Investment Banking Group based in London.
Mr. Dugan’s early career was with Smith Barney as a Investment Banking Managing Director covering global Industrial companies and at Bankers Trust Securities Corporation where he was Head of Cross Border Mergers and Acquisitions.
While at Bankers Trust Mr. Dugan also worked in the firm’s corporate equity derivative structuring business.
Mr. Dugan graduated with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Accounting from Villanova University.
