Amplico's private equity investment strategy focuses on turnaround and change process situations. They invest in established firms with financial difficulties or cash flow problems in mature industries. They also consider investments where the industry is confronted with extensive structural changes. They focus primarily on investments in the Nordic region. Amplico aims to eliminate risks and restore profitability and growth to their portfolio firms. The equity funds capital is approximately SEK 500 million. Typically, they invest from SEK 30 to SEK 70 million for each investment. They tailor the exit strategy to each situation. Their typical investment horizon is one to four years. Industry sectors they have invested in include navigation equipment, discount retail stores, interior design, and media printing services, sheet metal equipment manufacturing, medical packaging, TV-production, and economic information suppliers.
