Nabha Rege

Nabha Rege is an accomplished and experienced IP Portfolio Manager with a versatile technology background.
Prior to joining Techquity, Ms. Rege worked as Director of IP Portfolio Analysis at AT&T Knowledge Ventures, where she played a key role in managing and enhancing AT&T’s IP portfolio, including patents and other technology assets.
In this role, Ms. Rege created and maintained technology landscapes encompassing the end-to-end solution space for important company initiatives; landscape analysis to identify strengths and gaps in the portfolio; and patent development efforts within the company to protect AT&T’s strategic interests.
Ms. Rege played an integral role in identifying patent licensing and enforcement opportunities, leading to the development of new revenue streams.
Additionally, she provided in-depth analysis of software assets to formulate disposition strategies including licensing, sale or spin-off potential.
Ms. Rege is a registered Patent Agent.
Prior to Knowledge Ventures, Ms. Rege worked at Schlumberger Information Systems, where she managed a team to develop 3D Modeling Software for Oilfield exploration.
Ms. Rege graduated from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology with a Ph.D.
in Computer Aided Engineering.
Her thesis work focused on physically-based simulation and its applications.
Her Master’s thesis work, also at MIT, studied design methods for large-scale systems with emphasis on software systems.
She earned a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering at the Indian Institute of Technology in Bombay, India.
