Reid Hamilton

Mr. Reid Hamilton is a Senior Consultant at Mehta Partners LLC.
He is also a Co-lead of the Strategic Advisory business at Mehta Partners since 2010.
Since then, he has been involved with numerous cross-border transactions especially across India, Japan, and Europe.
Some of his noteworthy achievements include conceptualizing and executing the first overseas expansion for a pharmaceutical services business by helping them identify and acquire a US biotech business.
He also played a significant role in a crucial big-ticket deal between an Indian biotech firm and a global Japanese pharmaceutical giant.
He has over 12 years’ experience of working in projects demanding domain expertise in finance and biopharmaceuticals.
He has authored bespoke investment reports on biotech industry for institutional money managers.
He was also the Editor of Mehta Partners’ flagship annual report on the pharmaceutical sector.
Mr. Hamilton was previously employed as a Consultant by Goldman Sachs & Co., a Principal by Deutsche Bank Securities, Inc., and a Principal by Gruntal & Co. LLC.
Prior to joining Mehta Partners, he was working as a Manager, Usability Gratuity Group, in Microsoft Corporation.
He was also the Senior Dredge Operator, Waste Water Remediation at Coeur d’Alene Dredging.
He has completed Bachelors of Arts, Economics from Western Washington University, Bellingham, WA.
