Howard held several positions in different companies throughout his career.
He started as a Partner at PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP in 1990 and later became the Chief Financial Officer at Pharmaceutical Product Development LLC in 1995.
He also held the same position at MSGI Security Solutions, Inc. in 2000 and Learning Technologies Group, Inc. in 2001.
From 2008 to 2010, he was the Chief Financial Officer & Senior Vice President at MDS Pharma Services (US), Inc. He was also the Chief Financial Officer & Secretary at Jaggaer LLC from 2010 to 2015.
In 2015, he became the EVP, Chief Financial & Accounting Officer at vTv Therapeutics, Inc. and held the position until 2021.
He also served as the Chief Financial Officer & Executive Vice President at vTv Therapeutics LLC.
He was appointed as the Chief Financial & Accounting Officer at Aravive, Inc. in 2022.
Mr. Howard obtained his undergraduate degree from North Carolina State University.
